Where to find my work this spring

2025 is already shaping up to be an exciting year!

2025 is already shaping up to be an exciting year

I was juried into the Fashionistas 2025 exhibition by the Curatorial Projects Officer at the Centre Pompidou in Paris, Manon Thibodot. The exhibition is at the Orange County Center for Contemporary Art in Santa Ana, CA. The show runs from February 1st through March 22nd. It is such an honor to have one of the 66 pieces chosen out of about 400 in the exhibition!

Also, the Ojai Studio Artists held their annual exhibition at the Beatrice Wood Center for the Arts. My piece, Shades of Blue, was sold to a gentleman in Los Angeles. Making it the fourth piece in my series, Girls in Sunglasses, which has found a new home.

Coming up next, I was juried into the Member Exhibition of the Santa Barbara Printmakers to be held at the Vita Art Center in Ventura, CA. The opening reception will be on April 5th from 5-7 pm. I have two pieces in the show: a dry point etching of Ralph Lauren and another of my Girls in Sunglasses series, a monotype titled Driving Shades. The exhibition will run from April 5th through May 3rd.

Then, mark your calendars for the upcoming Ojai Studio Artists Second Saturday tour on April 12th from 10 am to 5 pm. My studio will be open, and you can come see my new press and a variety of my artwork hung in salon style on my walls. There will be 11 artists showing their work in both the West End of Ojai and the Oak View areas.

Go to ojaistudioartists.org to download your free map to all the studios.

I’m going to Portugal!

Excited to join 500 artists from 65 countries for a landmark printmaking show in the heart of the Douro Valley.

I'm thrilled to share some exciting news: I’ve been invited to participate in the 11th Biennial International Printmaking Exhibition in Douro, Portugal! This prestigious, invitation-only exhibition opens on August 10th, 2023 and runs through October 31st — and I’m honored to have two pieces included:

  • Jean Paul Gaultier — a dry-point etching with hand tinting

  • Alber Elbaz — a monotype

This year’s exhibition features 800 works by 500 artists from 65 countries, shown across eight venues throughout the scenic Douro Valley, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. My work will be on display at the main venue, the Douro Museum, with the first opening reception taking place there on August 10th at 5:00 p.m.

And here's the part that truly humbles me: after the exhibition, my artwork will be added to the Douro Museum’s permanent printmaking collection — part of a new museum initiative dedicated to the art of printmaking in the region.

It’s an incredible honor to be included, and I can’t wait to share more from this international experience soon!

Art events across Ojai and the Central Coast — and a chance to step into my studio this October.

There’s a lot happening in and around Ojai this season. Here’s where my work is showing — and where you can come say hello:

In Ojai, CA

“Turning Corners” at the Ojai Valley Museum
This annual exhibition by the Ojai Studio Artists opened June 30 and runs through October 9, 2023. It’s a dynamic group show celebrating the breadth of work created by artists in our community, and I’m proud to be part of it.

40th Annual Ojai Studio Artists Tour
My studio will be open October 7, 8, and 9 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. You’re invited to stop by, see a wide selection of my work hung salon-style, and check out my new press. It’s a great way to experience the creative energy of Ojai’s West End and Oak View artists.

In Santa Maria, CA
