I’M GOING TO PORTUGAL!

 

I have been invited to participate in the 11th Biennial International Printmaking Exhibition in Douro, Portugal!  The exhibition will open August 10th and run until October 31st, 2023.

 

- It is an invitation only exhibition (such an honor for me!)

-There will be 800 works from 500 artists from 65 countries exhibiting

-The work will be exhibited in eight venues around the Douro Valley in Portugal

-My work will be exhibited in the main venue - the Douro Museum

-There will be three opening receptions, the Douro Museum will be the first on August 10th at 5:00pm

-I will have two pieces in the show:

-“Jean Paul Gaultier,” a dry point etching with Hand Tinting

  -“Alber Elbaz,” a monotype

 

After the exhibition is over, I have been asked to donate my artwork to the Douro Museum to be a part of a new museum being dedicated to printmaking in the Douro Valley!

 

LOCALLY IN OJAI, CA

 

-“Turning Corners,” at the Ojai Valley Museum

-This is the yearly exhibition by the Ojai Studio Artists

-The show opened on June 30th, 2023 and continues until October 9th, 2023

 

- The 40th Annual Ojai Studio Artists Tour

-Takes place October 7th, 8th and 9th, 2023 from 10-5pm each day

-My studio will be open all three days, so please come by!

 

IN SANTA MARIA, CA

 

-“RESONANCE," a member exhibition by the Santa Barbara Printmakers

 -Taking place at the Allan Hancock College in Santa Maria, CA

 -From mid-August through September, 2023

-Our show was previously shown at the Ojai Art Center and was so successful,

  that it was taken to Santa Maria, CA!
